HR/Payroll Administrator HQ Personnel

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of our clients in the Wetherby area as a HR/Payroll Administrator. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the HR department including the processing of monthly payroll and expenses.

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR department
  • Produce and issue contracts and joining documentation to all employees in line with set processes
  • Record and monitor all absence including sickness and holidays
  • Process monthly payroll for 200 people including updating employee information, starters, leavers and statutory forms
  • Collate and check employee expenses
  • Produce monthly reports
  • Update company organograms
  • Manage specific projects and tasks

Person Specification:

  • CIPD or CIPP qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of processing all aspects of payroll including year-end procedures is essential
  • Conversant with Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience of HR Administration
  • A high level of interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills

This role is 24 hours per week Monday – Friday (negotiable). In return for this our client is offering a salary of up to £20,000. The benefits of working for this company include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata), company pension, life assurance, free parking and a performance incentive scheme.
