Based in Tockwith our client seeks an experienced Office Manager to join their existing down to earth and friendly team. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Reporting into the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will hold overall responsibility for the day to day administration of a busy office and provide support to management, including finance, ensuring that business objectives are met.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Staff management of the Office Supervisor and Compliance Officer – liaising and working with them to ensure business objectives are met
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • Processing time sheets and wages for an external Accountant
  • Ensuring supplier and debtor accounts reflect actual financial position
  • Placing purchase orders
  • E-invoicing
  • Ensuring that company service levels are achieved at all times – acting quickly and positively to address and resolve customer issues
  • Organising office operations and procedures
  • Supporting the Operations Manager in operational aspects, driving forward change in line with NHS procurement requirements

Office Manager Specification:

  • The successful candidate must have experience in a similar role.
  • You will have strong experience and current working knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Office - Word and Excel is required. An understanding of pivot tables and mail merge would be highly beneficial.
  • You will be highly organised with excellent communications skills, be able to deliver high quality customer care, whilst demonstrating experience of creating and implementing administrative systems and procedure.
  • You will be able to use your own initiative, manage your own workload to meet deadlines and build successful relationships with both customers and colleagues.
  • The role requires a ‘hands on’ candidate, who will lead from the front. Flexibility with hours may be required to meet business demands on occasions.

Salary and Package:

Your working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm.

They will be paying a salary of £27,000 per annum which is negotiable for the right candidate.  

Free onsite parking – 20 days holiday plus bank holidays – Auto enrolment pension scheme. You must be able to drive due to location.
